Clement Olusegun Olaniran KOLAWOLE is a professor of Language Education, Reading, Curriculum & Instruction and he is the current Vice-Chancellor, Trinity University, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria.
He is a fellow of Centre for Peace and Conflicts Studies (CEPACS).
Professor KOLAWOLE is also Member, Curriculum Organization of Nigeria (CON), Member, Reading Association of Nigeria (RAN), Member, International Reading Association (IRA) and Member, International Council on Education for Teaching (ICET). He is as well Member, International Society for Teacher Education (ISfTE), Member, British Association of Applied Linguistics (SIG), Member, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), and Member, Nigerian Academy of Education (MNAE).
He holds PhD, Language & Education, University of Ibadan; M.A. English Language, University of Ibadan; M.Ed. Language Education, University of Ibadan; and B.Ed English Language & Education, Ondo State University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria. He was appointed Professor of Language Education in 2008 by the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria.
He has represented the Senate, University of Ibadan, in several committees such as the Distance Learning Centre, The Board of Governors, The International School, The Governing Council, College of Technology, Esa-Oke, and Faculty of Education, Appointments and Promotions Panel (2006). He has been External Examiner of Ph.D theses in the University of South Africa, South Africa, University of Zululand, South Africa, Njala University, Sierra Leone, and Alagappa University, Alagappapuram, Karaikudi, Tamilnadu, India.

Professor Kolawole has supervised more than twenty Ph.D candidates in the fields of English Language Education, Curriculum and Instruction. He has assessed candidates for promotion to the grades of Associate Professor and Professor for universities in Nigeria and in Africa.
The new Vice Chancellor has published books, and contributed chapters in other published books, in excess of 100 works. He has also published articles in more than 60 learned journals, as well as written close to 20 Technical Reports and Monographs.
Professor Kolawole has attended and presented papers in over 40 major conferences.
Born on August 6, 1957, Professor Kolawole is happily married with children and also serves as Pastor, All Saints Evangelical Church, Ojoo Express Road, Ibadan, Nigeria.
